Campus security is closely related to each teacher and student from Anqing Foreign Language School. For one thing, it concerns whether students can grow up healthily and finish their studies smoothly. For another, it touches on if teachers can impart knowledge, educate people, cultivate and bring up all kinds of talents for our motherland in a peaceful and safe environment. Evidently, the campus safety work is not only the basis and premise for us to complete various tasks at school, but also one of the priorities for school education, which means we are supposed to persevere and make the security work fully implemented. Therefore, at the morning assembly on 26th March, Anqing Foreign Language School sounded the alarm for all the teachers and students in regard to the campus safety work.
So as to further carry out Anqing Foreign Language School’s safety education work, the Teaching Affair Office emphasized seven aspects for all the teachers and students to follow, which could be illustrated as follows: Firstly, establish students’ healthy psychology and safety consciousness. Secondly, pay attention to recess security. Thirdly, observe traffic order and regulations. Fourthly, stress on dietetic hygiene and form favorable habits. Fifth, intensify the awareness of ‘Prevention of Fire, Electric Shock and Infringement’. Sixth, learn to grasp self-rescue abilities and improve defense capabilities. Seventh, enhance precautionary alertness. In the meantime, the Teaching Affair Office handed out ‘A Letter to Parents of Primary and Secondary School Students Nationwide in terms of Drowning Prevention’ drawn up by the Basic Education Division with the Ministry of National Education.
To sum up, civilization is the foundation of all virtues and safety is the most essential element. Civilization lies in careful handling of details and security is in the bud. Thus, let us take actions positively and build a dense atmosphere around Anqing Foreign Language School in that ‘Security is our common responsibility and safeness is our common wish’. We shall constantly reinforce our safety consciousness, strive hard to strengthen self-protection abilities and always keep ringing the alarm bell in heart.
